This event commemorates the 10-year milestone of Berkshire Dream Home, a company deeply committed to serving our community. Every year, BDH donates over $10,000 to local charities and contributes hands-on volunteer efforts to create a significant impact in our community. Our goal for the Giveback Gala is to raise $50,000 for Strong Little Souls through ticket sales and an exceptional silent auction.

our story
Sarah and Andy are college sweethearts who met while attending Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH. They married in 1999 and went on to pursue careers related to their undergraduate studies. Andy swore to protect and serve, taking up the duties of a policeman in Hampton, NH directly out of college then moving to his hometown of Winchester, MA working for the police department there. Sarah worked as a research assistant in the pediatric psychopharmacology unit at Mass General Hospital prior to enrolling at Tufts University where she completed advanced graduate study in School Psychology. Their early years together are notable for significant hustle each in their own field. They decided to move to Western Massachusetts as a quality of life move to the bucolic Berkshires.
how it started
Sarah & Andy watered their roots and set down deep connections in Central Berkshire County. When they moved from the Boston area to the Berkshires both started new careers – Andy in real estate sales and Sarah as a school psychologist for Pittsfield Public Schools. Andy learned the ropes and the ins/outs of the real estate industry at a local franchise company. Sarah spent years working at the primary and secondary educational levels as a school psychologist. During this time, they expanded their family to include two wonderful boys: Jack and Alex.
Through the twists and turns of life – Andy opened his own company shortly afterward finding himself down one admin staff out of a total of one admin staff. Together they decided Sarah could fill in the missing organizational holes while Berkshire Dream Home Real Estate was getting off the ground.

In addition to their work together at Berkshire Dream Home they also bought and currently operate a seasonal boat-rental business – Berkshire UDrive Boat Rentals- on Pontoosuc Lake.
As opportunities arose – they have also invested in commercial real estate, multi-family rentals and one unique barn that can store their pontoon boats while also serving as a great AirBNB property. They love to tackle challenges and solve problems that invariably arise given the scope of their endeavors. Sarah and Andy love spending time with their two kids and look forward to continuing to explore and enjoy the wonders of this great big world.
